Are the product images on your site the actual items or stock photos?Updated 2 days ago

Great question! We primarily use stock photos provided by the manufacturer or our partners for product listings. These images show the product in new condition, as it would appear brand new. Here’s why and what that means for you:

  • Consistency: Stock photos ensure you can clearly see what the product looks like. Even if the box has been opened, the item itself should look just like the photo (unless otherwise noted).

  • Condition notes: If an item has any noticeable cosmetic imperfections (say a scratch or dent), we will mention that in the product description rather than show it in photos. We inspect items and are transparent about condition, but we don’t usually photograph each individual item.

  • Imperfect items: For items marked as “Imperfect” (open-box with minor scuffs, etc.), the stock photo still shows the product model, and the description will tell you what kind of minor wear to expect.

  • Requests for photos: We currently aren’t set up to take custom photos of each item – our inventory moves quickly – but rest assured our quality team has vetted it.

So, while the images are not of the exact physical item you’ll receive, they represent the same model and style. We make sure to accurately describe any differences in condition. No surprises – other than the great deal you got for it being open-box!
