Oh no – a declined card can be frustrating. Don’t worry, there are a few common reasons this might happen and steps you can take:
Possible issues & next steps:
Incorrect info: Double-check that all your payment details were entered correctly (card number, expiration date, CVV, billing ZIP code). A single typo can cause a decline.
Bank security: Sometimes banks decline a charge if it’s outside your normal spending pattern. It’s their way of protecting you. If you suspect this, you can call your bank or card issuer to approve the transaction and then try again.
Insufficient funds or credit limit: Ensure your account has enough funds or credit available for the purchase.
Expired card: If your card has expired or is no longer active, you’ll need to use a different one.
Try another method: We accept all major credit/debit cards and Shop Pay Installments. You could try a different card if you have one.
Contact us if it persists: If everything seems right on your end but it’s still not going through, reach out to us. We can check if there’s any issue on our side or suggest alternatives (like a PayPal invoice, if needed).
We want you to be able to get your items! Once you address the above, give it another go. If you continue to have trouble, we’ll work with you to find a solution.
