Do you charge sales tax on orders?Updated 6 days ago

We do collect sales tax on orders where applicable by law. It depends on the state (or province, if you’re on our Canadian site) that the order is shipping to.

A few things to know:

  • Tax calculation: Any required sales tax will be calculated and added during checkout once you enter your shipping address. You’ll see the tax amount before you complete the purchase.

  • Why some orders have no tax: If your shipping address is in a state that doesn’t impose sales tax on online purchases, or if the item is tax-exempt, you might not see a tax charge. (For example, some states don’t tax clothing or certain baby items.)

  • We handle the remittance: Rest assured, any tax we collect goes straight to the government as required. We handle all the paperwork on our end.

  • Tax-exempt customers: If you’re buying on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, reach out to us before placing the order. We’ll need proper documentation to remove the tax.

In summary, yes, sales tax is charged in accordance with state and local laws. The final amount, including any tax, will always be clearly displayed at checkout so there are no surprises.
